New Year’s Eve rocket almost leads to roof fire

A rocket got lost on the roof of a single-family house, where it exploded and started a smaller fire in the area of ​​the roof structure. Thanks to the intervention of the neighbors, worse could be prevented by lifting the roof tiles and fighting the fire with fire extinguishers. There was property damage to the roof structure amounting to around € 1000. The fire brigade was on site with 4 vehicles and 20 comrades and made sure that the fire could not break out again. People were not injured.

Silvesterrakete führt fast zu Dachstuhlbrand

Altmarkkreis Salzwedel – Das neue Jahr hätte am 01.01.2022, 00:11 Uhr für eine Hausbesitzerin in Arendsee, Mühlenstraße fast mit einem Brand des Hauses begonnen.

Eine Rakete hatte sich auf das Dach eines Einfamilienhauses verirrt, explodierte dort und löste einen kleineren Brand im Bereich des Dachstuhls aus. Durch das Eingreifen der Nachbarn konnte schlimmeres verhindert werden, indem die Dachziegel hochgenommen und der Brand mittels Feuerlöscher bekämpft wurde. Am Dachstuhl entstand ein Sachschaden in Höhe von etwa 1000 €. Die Feuerwehr war mit 4 Fahrzeugen und 20 Kameraden vor Ort und sorgte dafür, dass der Brand nicht wieder ausbrechen konnte. Personen wurden nicht verletzt.
